Prague is a city of incredible beauty and sophistication. We had our great time in Prague in June 2023. (2023)
Australia
We spent a week in AUS for the 2026 New Year. The beaches in Sydney and the artistic neighborhoods were absolutely fascinating. (2026)
Iceland
Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World. Where the land ends and the sea begins. In June 2023, we had an unforgettable time in Iceland. (2023)
Budapest
Budapest is blessed with a bounty of art nouveau architecture, quirky ruin bars and gorgeous bathhouses replenished by mineral-rich hot springs. We have a great day in Budapest on 2nd June 2023. (2023)
New York
Everything about New York is amazing. In November 2024, I became a New Yorker, strolling through the streets of the city. I love the High Line, the West Village and SoHo, and taking in the skyline. (2024)
Hokkaido 北海道
I’m grateful to have had the chance to travel to Hokkaido alone at the start of 2026, after a tough year. It was truly a wonderful trip — the heavy snow, in particular, left a deep impression on me. (2025)
Kyoto 京都
Surrounded by rich natural beauty, Kyoto is a city with a unique repertoire of culture refined over the past 1,200 years. I love visiting its various temples, courtyards, and karesansui. (2024)
Vienna
Vienna offers a blend of imperial traditions, music, and endearing charm. It is a city that inspires with the old and the new alike, and there is always a cosy corner waiting for you in a coffee house. (2023)

In October 2025, we spent a relaxing and pleasant vacation in Tokyo and its surrounding cities. My favorite moments were cycling by Lake Yamanaka and enjoying food and hot springs in Hakone. (2025)
Hong Kong
My past education and work experiences led me to live in Hong Kong for a long time, and my feelings toward this city are complex. Still, there is so much about Hong Kong that I love.
Egypt
The trip to Egypt was unforgettable for us — its magnificent history and the sunset on the Nile River. At dusk, we were out on the river in a boat, watching the sun go down. (2025)
Shanghai 上海
Solo trips to Shanghai make me feel relaxed and at ease; they also help me sort out my thoughts and find my way out of trouble. My favorite activity is simply walking the streets. (2025)
Italy
Italy is passion and style, heritage and diversity, innovation and creativity. Of all Italian cities, Rome is my favorite. Although I only spent two days there in July 2019, it left a deep impression on me. (2019)
Paris
La vie est belle. Paris is always a good idea. There are endless reasons to visit Paris again and again: it is a beautiful, cultural city, very walkable, with countless great sights. (2019)

In my thirtieth year, I found my way at last to that holy place my soul had longed to see. (2026)

Beijing is one of my favorite cities. Whether you are admiring the imperial imprints on its ancient buildings or wandering through the everyday life of its hutongs, Beijing is always a good idea. (2023)

Japan is a world apart — a cultural Galápagos where a unique civilization blossomed. Kyoto is my favorite city in Japan, and I had a perfect vacation there in 2016. (2016)

There is no other place like Bali in the world — a magical blend of culture, people, nature, activities, culinary delights, nightlife, and beautiful accommodation. (2018)
Singapore
Singapore, the largest port in Southeast Asia and one of the busiest in the world, is known as the Lion City (Singapura). I really miss my time at the National University of Singapore. (2018)
Vietnam
In 2018, I traveled to Vietnam again, visiting Ho Chi Minh City, Mui Ne, and other cities. I still remember the day visited the Crazy House. (2018)
Sabah
In November 2023, I had an incredible vacation in Sabah. Boating along the mangrove river and the fireflies at night were unforgettable. (2023)
Taiwan 台湾
When I was 20 years old, I spent a wonderful time in Taiwan. Taipei, Tainan, Kenting, Yilan, Hualien, and Green Island all left me with lasting memories.
Hangzhou 杭州
“West Lake may be compared to the Lady of the West; whether she is richly adorned or plainly dressed.” The last time we visited Hangzhou was in December 2022. We both love this city. (2022)
Thailand
In March 2020, I traveled to Thailand again. Phuket is among the world’s finest beach destinations, with fine white sands, nodding palm trees, glittering seas, and lively towns. (2020)
Wugong Mountain 武功山
Take a trip down memory lane — watching the sunset and sunrise, winding paths, and intertwined bamboo shadows. (2023)
Sichuan 四川
Our journey in 2020 took us to Chengdu and Ganzi. The snowy mountains were grand and unforgettable. (2020)
Istanbul
This was a long-awaited solo trip. In November 2024, I spent a day exploring Istanbul. (2024)
Chiang Mai
In April 2026, I arranged a brief solo getaway for myself. I savored the local flavors, indulged in soothing massages, practiced yoga, and wandered through one exquisite market after another. (2026)
Kitakyushu 北九州
We spent a five-day holiday in Kyushu, visiting five cities: Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Kokura, Yufuin, and Beppu. It was a very comfortable journey, and the beautiful sunshine was unforgettable. (2026)
